Hailey's Wish Boundless Playground
at Carroll Springs
The Hailey's Wish Boundless Playground is located on Center Street in Westminster Maryland. This $130,000 project was our first playground built in 2009 and was a collaborate project made possible with the support of the students and staff of the school along with members of the local community. Additionally, Hailey's Wish was able to obtain grant funding from Boundless Playgrounds, The France-Merrick Foundation, and CVS Caremark.
This playground is accessible by poured rubber surfacing and ramps. There are 6 ADA bucket swings and a saucer merry-go-round. It also includes music and sound sensory activity panels.
The playground is located at Carroll Springs School and is easily accessed and open to the public during all non-school hours. Carroll Springs School is a school for students who need special education and related services. These students have multiple severe disabilities and/or chronic health issues and who are between three and twenty-one years old. The location of the playground allows these children who need it most to benefit from the playground every day, while also benefiting the community during all non-school hours.
