What do we do at Meet & Play?

Hailey's Wish hosts Inclusive Meet & Play events, where participants have fun and interact through music & motion, arts & crafts, story time, sensory activities, and games.

How do we do it?

Hailey's Wish provides recreational activities that allow children of all abilities—including those with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities—to play side-by-side with their peers. These events remove physical and social barriers, ensuring that every child has equal opportunities to interact, learn, and have fun.​

Why do we host Meet & Play events?

Hailey's Wish believes that all children should be able to play at our community parks and playgrounds with their siblings and friends.  Sometimes families of children with disabilities become isolated, because they worry about whether their child will be accepted and included.  We want to help.  We hope that our inclusive Meet & Play events will remove barriers to facilitate engagement and friendships between children of all abilities.  We want everyone to feel welcome and included at the Hailey's Wish Inclusive Playground!
